How to Remove a CurseFirst Aid Against Malicious Occultism
Curses are an unpleasant but very real part of magick. Some are literally deadly. Here is basic first aid for anyone who suspects a curse.
Just like a gun or the knowledge of organic chemistry, magick can be used for weal or woe. Unfortunately, there are often 'witch wars' among occultists which utilize magickal warfare such as curses. Note that these curses are not simple maledictions or ill-directed energy. This is the ritual enlistment of spirits, deities and energies in order to wreak long-term damage on a specific individual or group of individuals, frequently binding their activities. If one can defend against this type of curse, then maledictions and ill-directed energy will be easy to defend against. DiagnosisOne needs to find out who, what, when, where, why and how as well as the extent of the damage. First, a simple divination is needed. This can be done via Tarot or any other sortilege method. Depending on the practitioner's level, they may need to ask a priest or shaman for assistance. The second part requires using a seer to assess the initial damage. This is usually done via a scrying device or by consulting the appropriate entities (for example, Fates or any deity in charge of fate). First Line of DefenseRemove ALL contact from the people in charge of the curse, their friends, associates and the like. Do not perform activities which are prohibited by the curse until after the curse is removed. Keep taking ritual baths, keep cleansing and shielding. Removal of Cursing ItemIf there is a specific cursing item that is either buried or located in a specific area, you must get it out. The most common method is burying it on your property, putting it in a tree on your property, or hiding it somewhere in their own house. Going into the assailant's house is not advised, but there are methods by which you could have it obtained and destroyed. Again, you would need a seer if you do not know where it is exactly. Before and after removing the item, you must wear gloves, mask, ritual robes, any sort of protective gear, as well as erect strong shields. Take the item, put it in a neutral area far from the victim's house, put a protective circle around it and burn it. You may need to add alcohol, which is purifying and encourages more complete burning. Wrap the remains securely, disinfect them with whatever holy water you use, disinfect the air with a cleansing incense, and dispose of them in a sewer or extremely large body of water to keep them from coming back to your property. Perform a stronger protective working on yourself or your property. If you do not yet have a witches' bottle, make one. Put garlic in a shallow dish on each windowsill with a small amount of oil; this protects against occult ingress through the windows. Practice shielding. The curse will either gradually or suddenly go away. Do not hang out with people who are prone to curse or hex.
