Learn how to work with faeries of springtime and connect with nature spirits. Work specifically with spring fairy magic for healing, survival and purification!

Spring is a season of new growth, abundance and change. Working with the faeries at this time can bring transformative magic, healing and experiences.

Meeting the Flower Fairies of Spring

Spring is an abundant time for nature to burst forth with new growth, from spring bulbs to new buds and fresh leaves. This is the perfect time for learning to find and communicate with faeries, for they are out in force coaxing forth new plants from the ground.

Spend time in your garden, or in nature, enjoying the beauty of the trees, plants and emerging flowers. Offer your assistance to the faeries by tending plants; water them, look after them, and talk to them, telling them how beautiful they are, and to grow big and strong. Faeries are attracted to humans who enjoy spending their time caring for nature, and carrying out these tasks regularly and with love will cause an abundance of faeries to surround you!

Elementals of Spring

Spring is also a time when the elementals of earth and water are easiest to connect with. Mist, rain, dew and new life in the soil are the perfect conditions in which to attune to these spirits.

Working with Earth Elementals

Earth elementals are collectively known as Gnomes. As guardians of the treasures of the earth, they can help you find your own treasures, from a healing crystal to identifying special people or situations in your life.

Work with earth spirits through nature, by spending time with your hands in the soil or holding natural stones. Earth elementals are attracted by cheerfulness and generosity of the spirit, and can assist with:

  • Looking after the physical body
  • Mineral absorption within the body
  • Endurance
  • Not giving up
  • Exercising caution
  • Survival
  • Grounding
  • Wisdom
  • Mending things
  • Metalwork

Working with Water Elementals

Water elementals are collectively known as Undines. They can help to find the wellspring of life within you and awaken untapped gifts.

Work with water spirits by the water, in the rain, or when bathing or swimming. They can also be contacted within dreams, and working with them regularly can help you control dream activity. Water elementals love beauty and can help with:

  • Looking after the astral body
  • Maintenance of bodily fluids, such as the blood or lymphatic system
  • Healing
  • Empathy
  • Purification
  • Psychic ability
  • Stimulation
  • Lucid dreaming
  • Astral body consciousness
  • Creativity

Creating Faerie Magic

Ostara, or the Spring Equinox, is an especially powerful time to create magic with spring faeries, but there are lots of ways to create faerie magic throughout the spring.

Planting trees or seeds is an excellent task to share with the faeries; meditate or fall into a trance-like state while planting, and ask the faeries to bless any new endeavours, so that they will grow strong and abundant as the new plants do.

Ask the faeries to bless a bowl or jug of water, and use it to water houseplants and greenhouse seedlings.

Take advantage of the energy of spring, which brings birth of new ideas, growth of projects, positive change, and removal of unwanted energy. Work with the faeries to balance your life, plans and achieve your goals, and de-clutter outdated ideas, unnecessary material goods and stuck energy.

Finally, remember to enjoy the magic of spring. With joy in your heart and an enthusiastic set of green fingers, it is easy to attract and experience the Fey!
