I can recommend a couple of books for you to begin with. They're both by Scott Cunningham who writes excellent books on Wicca and Witchcraft.

Scott Cunningham "Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" This is an excellent beginner book and has history, rituals, Sabbats and other things that you need to know about.

Scott Cunningham "The Truth About Witchcraft" This is a very basic introduction to Wicca and dispels a lot of myths.

Be sure to read through the articles here too because there are many that are geared toward beginning Wiccans.
