» Jill Stefko - The Story of the Fourth Wise Man

I recently learned about this fictional book made into a movie about a fourth Magi. Has anyone read the book or watched the movie?

I'm intrigued. The Bible doesn't record how many Magi visited Jesus. Tradition has it there were three based on the three gifts. Saint Augustine and Saint John Chrysostom wrote there were twelve.

It is possible the gifts were different. Gold can be made into many different objects such as coins, crowns and jewelry. Herbs can be alive in a container they were grown in, freshly harvested, dried, ground or made into incense and other items.

I'm interested in reading thoughts about the possibility there being more than three Magi.
